Ohio Valley Bass Member Brandon Staats and partner Justin Mowery take home 

3rd Place at Dillon Lake on May 30th for The Southern Ohio Bass Tournament Circuit.

Weighed in with a 6.78 lbs bag to earn them $400.00.

Dillon Lake proved to be a tough fishery but these guys seemed to figure something out as most of the field struggled.

Day 1 Big Bass Leader

Jay and Aaron took home Big Bass on Day 1 at the Mosquito Madness Tournament at Mosquito Lake, Ohio. This Big Bass netted them a $1000.00 for Day 1.

Jay and Aaron finished 17th overall for the 2 Day event with a 21.29 lbs bag.

Craig Gaitens Big Bass and 2nd Place at the Cabelas Championship

Ohio Valley Bass Club member Craig Gaiten shows his Big Bass in the Annual Cabelas Championship Open held at Wheeling Island on June 7th, 2015. Craig and his partner took home 2nd Place and Big Bass with this 3.67 lbs smallmouth. The Cabelas Championship brought over 50 boats out to compete on the always tough Ohio River. Congrats to Craig Gaiten and his partner on a job well done.

Tuesday and Thursday Nighters

Ohio River

We have been seeing some limits being turned in here lately. River has been touch and go but some people have been figuring the process out. We have been seeing occasional limits so which means the river is not shut off yet. Come out and support the club by fishing in these evening tournaments. On an average we have been seeing anywhere from 5-12 boats. The only way they will grow is by volume of participants. Go to the Tuesday Night page and the Thursday Night Page on the website for more information. Chris and Brandon put on some nice tournaments so come out and enjoy it. Remember we will be doing Saturday Morning Tournaments in starting in September at a launch site yet determined.
